1-on-1 Personal Training

Because 1-on-1 coaching is an individualized endeavor, I tailor each program to meet each client’s goals and needs.

We all have different reasons for wanting to get fit. We want to feel better, look better, work better and live better. You are unique, and your training program should be too!

Here’s what working with me looks like:

Assessment

Before training begins, it’s good to know where you’re starting so you can set realistic goals and get an idea of how long it will take you to get there. In your complementary assessment meeting, we will:

  • Review your exercise history (so we can learn what has worked and what hasn’t)

  • Perform a number of tests to determine your starting point (body composition, strength, endurance, and a movement screen)

  • Set specific and timely goals

  • Discuss any questions or concerns you may have

Program Design

  • Together, we will determine how long and how often we will train together

  • Agree on any additional exercise you need to do on your own

  • Set nutrition goals

  • Discuss recovery and well-being (i.e. sleep, stress reduction, relaxation)

Implementation

We’ll utilize a periodized training program, where we:

  • Gradually progress every workout, so you continue to be challenged

  • Adjust workouts on a daily basis depending on what your body needs

  • Advance into a new training phase every 4-6 weeks to avoid stagnation

Re-Assessment

Every month we will do a re-assessment in order to determine how much progress you’ve made and determine if we need to make any adjustments to your training program.

Success!

Training tip: you will get out of your training program as much as you put into it. Success will take daily effort, but I’m here to support you every step of your journey!
